Hannah Cogburn is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is excited to be joining Avance Psychiatry alongside Dr. Robert Millet in the Interventional Psychiatry Department.
Hannah completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and has worked in psychiatry throughout the entirety of her nursing career. She has experience working in inpatient psychiatry treating children, adolescents, and people with eating disorders. While she loves working with the younger populations, she is also passionate about treating adults, and at this time is only accepting adult clients.
Hannah’s background in nursing has taught her to prioritize her relationships with her patients. She values human connection and feels that this is a deeply important aspect of achieving mental health. She believes in treating her clients holistically through a shared-decision making model.
Hannah is a Louisiana native and enjoys going for walks, reading mystery novels, and playing with her cat in her spare time.
