Foram Patel, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Psychiatric Provider who serves patients at Avance Psychiatry in Raleigh, North Carolina.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Vermont. Before starting her graduate studies, Foram gained hands-on experience as a medical assistant and medical scribe in various healthcare settings, including the emergency room, urgent care, and family medicine. She then went on to further her education by receiving her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
Foram is particularly passionate about mental health and is committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. She strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, where patients feel comfortable sharing and participating in their healthcare journey. Shared decision-making is a fundamental aspect of her approach to patient care.
Outside of her professional life, Foram enjoys hiking, playing board games, and cooking. Being new to the area, she’s excited to explore her new surroundings.
