Micha Lanier, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant providing care at Avance Psychiatry in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Micha earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in science from East Carolina University. She later received her master’s degree in physician studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before pursuing her graduate degree, she gained clinical experience working on both a mother-baby unit and an orthopedic unit.
She has experience caring for children, adolescents, and adults with a range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and psychosis.
Micha believes in taking the time to listen to patients and work together to establish patient-centered goals supported by evidence-based medicine. She values patient education and multi-disciplinary collaboration to support individuals at the beginning of their mental health journey and throughout ongoing care.
Micha was born and raised in the Triangle area. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching football, lifting weights, discovering new restaurants, and exploring trails with her dog, Akira.
