What to expect from Ketamine Infusion Process?

Our experienced psychiatrists and team will assess your unique needs to see if ketamine is right for you and create a personalized treatment plan.

Assessment: At Avance Psychiatry, we consult with patients who have been referred by their healthcare provider or reach out directly. We provide a comprehensive evaluation to determine whether ketamine infusion therapy is the right next step in their care

Getting Started with Treatment: If you’re a good candidate, Avance Psychiatry administers an initial series of four infusions over two to three weeks, following expert guidelines from the American Psychiatric Association.

Noticing the Benefits: Most patients (around 85%) report significant relief from their depression and other symptoms. We’ll closely monitor your progress to determine when booster infusions may be needed—usually anywhere from 2 to 10 weeks after the initial treatments.

Long Term Wellness: Ketamine is most effective when combined with ongoing care. We work closely with your healthcare team to create a personalized, long-term wellness plan so you can maintain your progress.
